Tuesday
4:30 – 6:30 – Treble Maker Show Choir – Grades 5 – 9 (Closed to further registration in Spring)
This is a middle and high school show choir two semester (Fall and Spring) class that performs in the community and travels as well! We focus on 3 part harmonies, blending, performance and dance. This year, Dance Prep will be taught as part of this class during the first half hour…don’t be late! If your child likes “Glee”, this is the perfect opportunity for them to participate in a fun, friendly and educational show choir! This year, the group will be traveling to Hollywood, California May 26 – 30 in 2013 for wonderful performance and educational opportunities. Class participation is by audition only, or with teacher approval. Auditions will take place on August 8th at 5pm.
***Additional costume and travel fees are the responsibility of the parent***
4:30 -5:30 – Dance Prep – Grades 5-9
Would your child like to know the basics of dance? Would they like to feel more comfortable at auditions and on stage? Then this class is for them. Your instructor will give your child the tools they need to be successful and confident with movement and dance on stage by instilling the basics of jazz, tap, and ballet all geared towards musical theatre. There will be two parent showcase recitals a year (one per semester) where your child can “show their stuff” WITHOUT having to pay for expensive costumes or production fees. Included with Treble Makers this year!
6:30 – 8:00pm – Grades 6 -9 Studio Series (Closed to further registration in Spring)
Studio series are designed to give kids the opportunity to perform in small cast musicals. This year is no exception as we produce “13” in our studio series. This is a GREAT opportunity to receive larger roles and solo opportunities in a show with characters EVERYONE loves. Come sing along with us!
Please note that this class is a TWO SEMESTER commitment as parent showcases will be performed in May of 2013.

Wednesday
3:30 – 4:30 – Age 4 through Grade 5 Studio Series
This is a GREAT class for beginners to receive quality training in the arts as well as have the opportunity to put that training into use in front of an audience. This semester we will welcome kiddos ages 3 to 10 into our production of “A Parade of Easter Bunnies”. This is a great opportunity to include your little ones with their siblings!

4:30 -5:30 – Beginning Dance – Age 4 through Grade 5 Studio Series

4:30 – 6:30 – Select Show Choir -Grades 9 -12(Closed to further registration in Spring)
Select is a HIGH LEVEL show choir open to grades 9 – 12. It is an audition only class. This show choir focuses on harmonies and dance in a fast paced, high commitment level group. New this year is intermediate dance lessons included in the last half hour! This group serves as or theatre ambassadors and helps with outreach and our end of the year awards ceremony. All community performances and all rehearsals are MANDATORY. This year, this group will be traveling Hawaii from March 17 – 21, 2013 for AMAZING performance and educational opportunities.

5:30 – 6:30 – Improv & Sketch Comedy- Grades 4 and up
This class is designed for the child that is naturally funny and enjoys thinking on their feet. Through individual and group exercises, movement, workshops and games, your child will learn the craft of improvisation as well as public speaking. Class will focus on writing, performing and directing sketches as well as creating stories on the spot. There will be a couple of Improv/Sketch Comedy Showcases at the middle and end of the semester to present to parents.
COMBINE with Beginning Dance, and/or Rudolph and save from $75 to $125 per semester!
Thursday
4:00pm – 5:00pm OR 6:00 – 7:00 – K – 3 Studio Series – PRODUCTION BASED
Studio Series classes are designed to allow your child to participate in a full scale, age-appropriate musical theatre show. We hope the small class size allows for larger roles and individualized attention. All scripts, music and costumes are included in the cost of the class (with the possible exception of some footwear). The class will produce a 40-minute musical of ““Winnie the Pooh”, to be performed for parents at the end of the semester. COMBINE with All Keyed Up and/or Acting 101/Improv and save $75 – $125 per semester!

5:00pm – 6:00pm – ALL KEYED UP- Show Choir For Grades K – 5
Does your child love to sing and dance? Are they “Gleeks”? Are they natural performers? Would you like to foster and support that love and talent? Then “All Keyed Up” Show Choir is for you! This group that is open to grades K – 5 will give your child a real show choir experience! All members will get basic vocal and dance training with an emphasis on proper breathing techniques, blending, projection, movement, stage presence, working within a group dynamic and performing for the community. K-3 will perform their own number, and 4-5 will challenge themselves with their own number with harmony and choreography! This group will perform at local community events about 6 -8 times per year. There will be solo opportunities in both singing and dancing, & there will also be small groups formed within the children’s age ranges and it’s a “must take” for those children who strive to get into our upper level middle and high school show choirs. No matter what your child’s aspirations, ‘All Keyed Up” will feed their desire to sing, dance and perform in a nurturing and FUN group environment!
COMBINE with Acting 101 and/or a Studio Series and save $75 – $125 per semester!
4:00pm – 5:00pm OR 6:00pm – 7:00pm Grades 4 – 6 Studio Series – PRODUCTION BASED
Studio Series classes are designed to allow your child to participate in a full scale, age-appropriate musical theatre show. We hope the small class size allows for larger roles and individualized attention. All scripts, music and costumes are included in the cost of the class (with the possible exception of some footwear). This semester this class will produce the musical story, “The Lion King”
COMBINE with All Keyed Up and/or Acting 101 and save $75 – $125 per semester.

6:00 – 7:00 – Acting 101/Improv – Grades 6 and Up
This class will focus on the basic fundamentals of beginner’s theatre. Introduction on how to perform both comedic and dramatic monologues. Practice performing with other actors and fun improv games! This class will enhance skills of both experienced and non-experienced. Children will build their acting resumes while learning in a fun and supportive environment. There will be a showcase at the end of the semester for parents.
COMBINE with Musical Theatre Dance, All Keyed Up and/or a Studio Series and save $75 – $125 per semester!
7:00pm – 8:00pm – Screen Acting – all ages
Has your child ever been interested in being on the big screen? Have they ever wanted to know the basics of cinematic acting? Then this is the class for them! Your child will learn how to read, slate and cold read for a film audition. During this semester the class will also create their own infomercial, audition reel and much more! Children will have a reel created for them at the end of the semester to show to a live audience of parents!
7:00pm – 8:00pm – Musical Theatre Dance
Unlike other dance classes, this class is for kids who want to overcome that audition anxiety for musical theater dance calls. This class will include basic terminology for dance steps used in dance calls, shows, show choirs and even in simple blocking. This is not a beginning class or a “leveled” class; all experience is welcome! There will be a small musical theatre number performed at a parent preview at the end of the semester. Boogie on over!
